As we move into the last few months of the year, a lot of our clients – especially those involving warehouse roles – start to get busier. As this is the start of the seasonal period, a lot of our clients can sometimes look for temporary workers, to help get them through their peak in business.
Additionally, other businesses will be looking to the new year, and beginning preparations for 2025, therefore this can also be a busy time for permanent recruitment too.
As we do get busier, here at XCL Group we come across 100’s of CV’s a day, while resourcing for our job roles and we have some brilliant candidates apply – however – we can’t always get in touch with them.
This is because the contact details are either incorrect or missing off the CV completely.
If we find your CV and think you’re suitable for a job role, we want to talk to you!
It’s amazing how many CV’s are missing just the basic information therefore, it’s important to remember when creating, editing, updating or uploading your CV, to double check and make sure you have all the vital information listed on there, so we can reach out.
Checklist
Have you put your Name?
This may seem obvious, but you’ll be surprised!
Have you put your contact details?
Phone numbers will be our first port of call to get in touch regarding a job role / job application, however we may follow up with emails and attach job descriptions, for more information.
Have you put your location?
This gives us an insight to your location, to see if a job is accessible to you.
Have you put whether you drive / have your own transport?
Again, this helps give us an insight as to whether a particular job is going to be accessible to you.
Have you described what you’re looking for in your next role?
Giving a brief summary of this, gives us a clear idea of what sort of job role you are looking for, so we can go through other roles we have available when we contact you.
