Description

Our client is a well-established manufacturer of bespoke plastic extrusions, creating high-quality plastic profiles and tubes. Offering a 4-day working week and a competitive salary, they’re looking for an experienced extrusion setter to join their team.

Job Responsibilities:

Produce high-quality extrusion profiles to meet production standards
Ensure the machines are running efficiently and reporting any setting delays
Train new starters, offering support and guidance where needed
Updating production records accordingly so everything is up to date
Adhering to health and safety standards at all times, as well as keeping a tidy workspace
Carrying out any maintenance work on the machines
Assist in tool trials as and when required
Thorough quality checks and ensuring they get checked and signed by the correct person
Printing finished goods labels and assist on the packing line if needed

Job Requirements:

Past experience working in extrusion is essential
Supervising experience is desirable
Ideally drive and have access to your own transport
Excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail

Hours:

Monday – Thursday
07:30am – 19:30pm (Days)
19:30pm – 07:30am (Nights)
They are offering a 4-day working week and have available vacancies on both the days and nights.
