We are working with a growing company based in Denton who are looking for a well-seasoned leader to join their established business in the role of production manager. Ideally looking for someone with a background in either vac-forming or CNC. Our client is looking for someone who is going to integrate new systems and promote 5S & Lean Manufacturing throughout the site.

Job Responsibilities:

Oversee the Production shopfloor and manage the production staff across all departments.
Attending daily, weekly and monthly meetings to provide forecasts and update shareholders and directors as to where the company is in relation to targets and objectives.
Managing projects and overseeing the procurement of new machinery for the manufacturing processes.
Continually looking into the efficiency for the production schedule and reducing wastage and expenses.
Regular staff reviews including KPI meetings and recruitments drives where necessary.
Monitoring productivity rates and quality standards.
Implementing health and safety across the site and working to strict guidelines to enforce the best practice of working in a manufacturing environment.

Job Requirements:

Strong proven background in either vac form plastic moulding or CNC manufacturing.
Must have past experience as a production manager or similar role.
Ideally would drive and have their own transport.
Excellent leadership skills and enthusiastic attitude.

Hours:

Monday – Thursday 7am – 4:30pm
Friday 7am – 2pm
