Description

XCL Group are looking for an experienced general manager to join their clients busy company based in Hyde. This is working in an inhouse department and will play an integral part of the production of a proud to be made British interior furnishing. This particular department is where a lot of the components are manufactured in their state of the art Injection Moulding facility.

We are looking for people who have past experience in the injection moulding sector who has been in a leadership role previously.

Job Responsibilities:

Oversee and create plans for the production of the components.
Ensure the efficiency of the production is continually looked at and improved where necessary.
Reporting to the production director on a regular basis with updates and new ideas for any further improvements to the cycle and schedule times.
Management of all personnel in this department and material resources.
Ensuring that all deadlines and targets are achieved.
Making use of their in house systems for planning the production of the components and updating other departments.
Up holding the health and safety throughout the departments.

Job Requirements:

Past experience within the injection moulding sector.
Excellent management skills.
Own transport would be required.
Ability to communicate on all levels and throughout the company.

Hours:

Monday - Friday
8am – 5pm
