We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Operative for a manufacturing client based in Halifax,

West Yorkshire.

The main purpose of the role would be to ensure the correct materials are supplied to the correct

areas in a timely manner.

Job Responsibilities:

Feeding raw materials into machines
Manual lifting
Use of the FLT (Counterbalance)
Organising and ensuring goods are sorted in a timely manner in the correct areas and accurately accounted for
Keep the warehouse organised and clean
To comply with 5S standards
Flexibility to work in all areas and assist team members
Undergo additional training as and when required
Abide to all health and safety standards at all times including wearing the correct PPE

Job Requirements:

Experience in a similar role
A Valid FLT (Counterbalance)
Ability to get to and from the company during unsociable hours

Preferred Skills:

Good English both verbally and written
Organised
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Any relating qualifications/certificates
Understanding of 5s
Time Management

Hours:

Shift Rotation
Monday to Friday 6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm/ 10pm – 6am
May be required to work 12 hour shifts at times should the company’s annualised hours get invoked.
Overtime is available as and when, depending on the company’s requirements.
