XCL Group are working alongside an expanding company who are looking for people to join them at a large manufacturing site in West Yorkshire. This opportunity offers the potential of long term employment and they’re currently looking for hard working and reliable individuals to become a key part of their manufacturing department.

The main purpose of this role will be assisting with the preparation process of the fabrics, ready for dyeing & finishing.

Job Responsibilities:

Re-sewing of cloth ready for the De-twister
Ensuring fabric is always sewn face to face, when sewing together at De-Twister
Pushing carts from one area to another.
Following Procedures on worksheets according to the different fabric qualities.
Alerting management of any issues, that may affect the quality of finished products. i.e faults, inconsistencies etc. before the fabric moves to the next department.
Keeping the machine in good working condition, i.e. clean and safe to work on.
Being responsible for safety, e.g. keeping storage areas, emergency routes, walkways, and machine access points tidy.
Assisting in general duties in the factory (multiskilling).
Adhering to health and safety policies and safe systems of work

Job Requirements:

Good hand eye co-ordination & attention to detail.
Ability to easily follow instructions.
Communicate effectively with others.
Can work well as part of a team, as well as individually – using own initiative.

Hours:

There are shifts available on both days and nights
Monday – Friday
6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm (Days) rotating shifts
10pm – 6am (Nights)
